HOLIDAY MAGIC, a gift for children of all ages - BRINGS JOY TO HOSPITALIZED CHILDREN

Donations Sought for Compilation CD to Pay Production Costs, Widen Distribution

SAN DIEGO, October 12, 2007- GelderHead Productions, offering professional voice-over services to enhance business communications, announced today that it is spearheading the continued production of "Holiday Magic 2007…a gift for children of all ages," a CD featuring music and a holiday tale that will be distributed to sick children at Children's Hospital San Diego and their siblings. A number of singers and actors donated their talent for the CD, and funds are currently being solicited to cover the cost of production and ensure as many children as possible receive them.

Jeff Gelder, owner of GelderHead Productions, distributed 1500 CD's to four hospitals in 2006; he hopes to exceed that number this year and plans to "play Santa" in December at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. Donations are requested throughout the year. Checks of any denomination should be made out to GelderHead Productions (with Children's Hospital CD Fund on the memo line) and sent to P.O. The tale on the CD is weaved by Jeffrey the Reindeer and Santa Claus as they make their way from the North Pole to visit the children of San Diego. Along the way they meet Jeffrey's cousin, Carlito, who lives at the Wild Animal Park. Last year we introduced Kate the feisty teenage reindeer from Milwaukee. The talent last year was remarkable, and included award winning author and actress Vanna Bonta (Beastmaster, Hocus Pocus, An American Tale: Fievel Goes West, Beauty and the Beast, Where Sleeping Dogs Lie), Kimberly King of KNSD/NBC-TV and Sam Bass of KyXy 96.5fm.

Other performers who generously lent their talent to the CD are extraordinary vocalist and recording artist Eve Selis, singer, song writer Karl Anthony, nationally acclaimed voice actor Connie Terwilliger, vocal talent Kathy Bray, AudioGirlProductions, and recording artists James Higgins, Evan Brau, Elliot Kidd and Anthony Grant, Steven Wilborn, Janet Hammer's Full Measure Carolers, AudioGirlProductions.com, and more. Microsoft manager and writer Mark Patterson penned the script, and Santa Claus, Carlito, Kate and Jeffrey the Reindeer are played by professional speaker Phillip Tanzilo, voice actors Greg Dehm, Heather Martinez, and Gelder also of KyXy 96.5fm, respectively.

The first CD was produced four years ago, when Gelder was tasked in a Landmark Education class to come up with a project that would enhance the community and ultimately take on a life of its own. That's just what has happened, as Gelder now fields many inquiries about the CD all year long. "This year we hope to once again have CD's for Children's Hospital's in Milwaukee, Albuquerque and Orange County in addition to San Diego and we've had requests from other hospitals around the country.

For every $2.00 donation a child will receive a CD of their own," says Gelder. "This is a labor of love that is received with much joy by children who are unfortunately spending the holiday season in the hospital and their siblings, who often crave attention due to so much being given to the ailing member of their family," Gelder said. "We appreciate all donations! The more donations the more children that will be receiving a CD."

Here are the details...

Through the generous donations of several singers and actors, we will be creating the 5th annual compilation recording titled "Holiday Magic 2007…a gift for children of all ages." The tale is weaved by Jeffrey the reindeer and Santa Claus as they make their way from the North Pole to visit the children of San Diego. In 2005 we met Jeffrey’s cousin Carlito who lives at the Wild Animal Park! In 2006 we met Kate the feisty and adventurous teenage reindeer from Milwaukee. The talent last year was once again remarkable!

The goal is to brighten the holidays for the sick children spending the season at Children's Hospital’s and their siblings who often feel lonely due to the other child requiring more attention from the parents. Last year 1500 copies of the CD were delivered to Children's Hospitals in four cities in the U.S. and they were thrilled to have them and distribute them to their patients!

My goal is to produce and deliver a minimum of 1500 copies this year, which will be delivered in December. Please consider donating $30 or as much as possible. No amount is too big or too small. Your gift is appreciated immensely!
